Fundraising

Swim for Hope will take place on Friday, February 18, 2022, and will involve individual and corporate sponsors. Participants will compete for various prizes, including the top three fundraisers in the province.

This event is fun, requires athletic ability and has phenomenal appeal to the membership of the Swimming Newfoundland and Labrador. Participation in the event involves young people working as a team in an atmosphere of friendly rivalry against time constraints and other competing teams. On Friday, February 18 2022 the swimmers of SNL will take to the water to raise funds in support of cancer patients and their families in our province.

Recycling Fundraiser

The purpose of this fundraiser is to help reduce the costs of pool time and the cost of the swim caps/other equipment. Our club has an account at Scotia Recycling (account number 6604616) on Maple Valley Road and West Lane Recycling on Brook Street. All you have to do if you don't want to wait in vehicle traffic line is to walk into the self serve kiosk inside and type in our account #. Sticker tags will print off identifying our club. Put these tags on the recycling bags donated - the staff will count the donated recycling later and credit our account.
